Dear All,
\nAs you know the registration to the International ICT Seagulls and Leading Seagulls Project is still going on. The deadline is 1st March. Up to now, 41 Turkish teams\/circles have already registered. 25 projects had already been finalized. We hope more teams will register during the Spring Term, which starts on 9th February. I would like to share the basic information of registered teams and projects\u2019 topics with you.
\nWithin the ICT Seagulls Project;
\n1.Gaziantep College Foundation, Private Schools; \u201cCreating Awareness for the Disabled People through empathy\u201d project,
\n2.Galatasaray High School along with Galatasaray University; \u201cCreating Awareness on Cultural Differences\u201d project,
\n3.Mu\u011fla Turgut Reis Anatolian High School, \u201cOur Key is Peace\u201d project,
\n4.Private Beykent Do\u011fa Anatolian High School, \u201cQualified Mathematics Teaching\u201d and \u201cQualified English Teaching\u201d Projects,
\n5.\u00dcsk\u00fcdar Hac\u0131 Sabanc\u0131 Anatolian High School will conduct four projects; \u201cFamily Pressure on children\u201d , \u201cBrain Cage-Quality Education\u201d, \u201cPreserving Rights\u201d and \u201cStigma-Moral values\u201d projects.
\nICT Leading Projects are for universities and three universities took part in it. They are as follows;
\n1.Istanbul Ayd\u0131n University students are studying on three different projects. They are about; \u201cMentally Retarded Students_Their Sexual Lives and their Families\u201d, \u201cShadow Teaching\u201d and \u201cMentorship Training for the Gifted Students\u201d projects.
\n2.Gaziantep University, Foreign Languages Higher School students and lecturers are conducting 4 ELT Projects.
\n3.Bo\u011fazi\u00e7i University, Faculty of Education students have just finalized 25 projects within two courses named; \u201cClassroom Management\u201d and \u201cIntroduction to Teaching Profession\u201d.
\nDuring the Spring Term, more students are expected to register to the project.
\nAs is known, the 2015 projects are not only taking schools as a target. Retired teachers, parents, business people and NGO leaders are also invited to the project. They might form their circles, determine a problem area and then start studying collaboratively. If you have any questions about this, you might write to me (hayal@yimeder.org).
