“ICT Seagulls & Leading Seagulls” are registering for “2015 Projects”

November 26, 2014 / ictseagull / Uncategorized

logoDear All,
With a great pleasure, I must say that the number of registered “ICT Seagulls” and “Leading Seagulls” teams is increasing.
There have been 31 already registered İmece teams. Universities like; Boğaziçi, Gaziantep and Istanbul Aydın are the leading ones. On the other hand, Gaziantep Kolej Foundation Anatolian High School, Galatasaray High School, Muğla Turgut Reis Anatolian High School and Beykent Doğa Anatolian High School have been registered as the pioneering ones. The topics which will be studied during the year seem very interesting. I believe very beneficial outcomes will appear. I would like to thank all the leaders and students who take part in the project voluntarily. Our judges are happy and excited like me. I understand that from their cheerful mails and messages. The excitement results from the feeling of satisfation: we are supporting and also assisting the future leaders to be more ethical, more productive and more dignified leaders who are going to be qualified individuals to team work and analytical thinking skills. Manging time, managing conflit and using technology effectively are the other plus points of the project.
I believe the school leaders, who will meet the project in Antalya “1st Education Conference” of the Ministry of National Education on 28-30 November, 2014, will be impressed by the project as well. The same thing, I hope, will happen in  the Annual Workshop of Human Dignity and Humiliation Studies in NYC, Columbia University on 4-6 December 2014. I try hard to publicise the project and I know most of my ex collaborators do the same. Because they have witness the fruitful outcomes of the project within years.  In addition to the great support of the World Council for Total Quality and Excellence in Education (WCTQEE) and Human DHS Network, the Peace Education and Research Center of Boğaziçi University (BUPERC) has decided to support the project. I am thankful to all of my dosts on the way of creating a peaceful future world. We all know that it will take time, but good projects always need time to blossom.
Have a lovely day. Stay in peace and dignity.
Hayal Köksal
